Our Mission

The Prairieview Parent Teacher Organization (PVPTO) is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of children at Prairieview by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers. Our main goal is to bring our Prairieview families together with the sole purpose of promoting community involvement and quality family time. Each year we organize some great events such as Bingo Night, Family Dinner nights, and Discovery Day among others…

While our primary goal is to have fun doing things together and supporting quality family time, we also work to raise money that will help enhance our children's educational experience. We support our students and teaching staff through fund raising efforts that help provide additional equipment, supplemental educational materials and experiences, as well as school and family social interaction, events, services and projects.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the board! The PTO Board is composed of PTO members elected or appointed to represent the membership. The PTO Board manages the organizational and financial aspects of the PTO. We still have positions open, so if you are interested in joining the board, reach out to us today!
